Isa

Yesterday on the beach I met a little girl named Isa, just like me!  Her full name is Isabella (she's Italian, so they pronounce it ee-sabella), and they call her Isa for short.  Her grandmother took a picture of us together.  Then told her that she's going to the dogs.
I don't think that's such a bad place to be.

Seriously?! Just put on some clothes!

The other day, Mom & I went for our morning walk on the beach with Liss & Shirley
it's not cold down here, but it was a little chilly
Mom was wearing capris and a long sleeve shirt.
we saw this girl walking barefoot in short shorts, a tank-top
and a WINTER HAT.

seriously?!

It's really not cold enough to warrant a winter hat
especially not one with ear flaps
more importantly, if you are that cold, PUT ON SOME CLOTHING.

8 Days of Summer

My favorite summer memory for the 8th to last day of the season is:

Sunrise & Sunset

Mom & I saw a lot of GREAT sunrises on the beach this summer.
Sunrise is my favorite, because there usually aren't too many other people up yet so I get to run around without a leash, chasing fish and birds like the crazy Huntress I am.

We also saw some great sunsets on the bay.
Fourth of July, we sat on the dock in Aunt Becky's neighborhood

We also went to the Emerald Wood's Park dock
with Grandma Jo, Aunt Cara, and Ginny & Sean

and again with Vicki, Brianna, Collin, Puka & Neeva

I know the sun will continue to rise and set throughout the fall and winter, but as the temperatures cool and the days shorten, I'm sure I'll be watching them less... so farewell summer sunrise & sunset!

back to the BEACH!

This morning, i was able to get up all by myself.
SO, mom & dad took me to THE BEACH!
i hadn't been in DAYS and DAYS.
this is my FAVORITE thing to do,
EVER:

Dad went surfing while i frolicked.
i tried to follow, but he went too far

so Mom & I watched from shore

it was a FUN morning!
